Meet David Rice

Blue Heron Respite Care LLC was founded by David Rice, a retired Firefighter/EMT with 18 years of service, private medical transport/EMT experience, and current CPR/First Aid certification.

Throughout his career, David has supported individuals and families during times when compassion, patience, dependability, and a calm presence mattered most. Today, he brings that same commitment to Blue Heron Respite Care, providing personalized, non-medical respite and companion care.

Blue Heron gives family caregivers time to rest, recharge, run errands, attend appointments, or simply take some well-deserved time for themselves—while knowing their loved one has dependable companionship and support.
